A rare chance has opened up — Christmas at Woodburn Lodge is now available for a festive escape in the heart of the woodland.

If you’d love to spend the season snuggled around the log burner, watching Christmas movies, sipping hot chocolate, and enjoying the peace of the countryside, this could be your perfect December getaway.

(With our current refurbishment the lodge will then consist of 2 double bedrooms and a bunkbed room)

👋 A big warm hello to all our followers — new and old. 👋

Here’s a little about Woodburn Lodge and the beautiful grounds we call home.

Nestled within Otterburn Hall in Northumberland National Park, we’re perfectly placed for walks, hikes and exploring… or simply unwinding in nature.
We’re close to:
• Dark Skies Observatory (26 mins)
• Kielder Forest (40 mins)
• Alnwick Castle & Gardens (50 mins)
• Northumberland Zoo (45 mins)

Hexham and Corbridge are also nearby — full of independent shops, great food and authentic Northumbrian pubs.

If you stay close to the lodge, the grounds are breathtaking. Deer, squirrels, ducks and geese often wander by. It’s the perfect place to stop, breathe and reconnect.

Woodburn Lodge sleeps 6, is extremely dog friendly, has free Wi‑Fi, smart TVs in all rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, comfy living area with log burner, and a large south‑facing decking with a private hot tub and sun loungers

Minimum stay: 2 nights
we can offer a variety of check in / out dates to work with your travel plans

🍂🐿🦌If you’re craving an autumn escape, Woodburn Lodge has some lovely dates still open in September and October. It’s the perfect season for golden woodland walks, slow evenings by the log burner, and hot‑tub nights under the early autumn stars.
