Best job in the world? Route scouting update from El Salvador 🇸🇻

Neil’s been travelling through El Salvador this week and the main thing he keeps mentioning is just how friendly everyone’s been.

Highlights so far:
🌮 San Salvador’s Central Market — one of the best markets he’s visited. Street food, handmade crafts, flowers and locals constantly asking him to take their photo.

🏛️ Slow afternoons around the National Palace and historic centre, with relaxed coffee spots, family plazas and barely another tourist around.

🌊 Local buses along the Pacific coast for around 50 cents to a dollar, hopping between surf towns, seafood spots and laid-back beach villages.

🌳 Small villages where evenings revolve around the central square — kids playing around fountains while families eat, drink and spend time together.

🚌 And apparently in El Salvador you never need bus snacks because food vendors just jump onboard at different stops 😂
