S7ETE MARES in Sardinia & Corsica for the 2026 Summer Season

S7ETE MARES, launched in 2025, is already turning heads. We first visited her in the Caribbean in November and were delighted to find an outstanding crew we’ve known and trusted for years. Captain Bastian Tromp, chef/hostess Sarai Ben Ari, and deckhand Dylon Holm. What a team of wonderful creators with a proven track record.
No surprise that S7ETE MARES picked up multiple awards at the BVI Charter Show.

Now based in Sardinia for the summer, the island of turquoise seas, sculpted rock formations, and a culture shaped by food, wine, and art, perfectly paired with southern Corsica and Bonifacio. It makes one of the most compelling charter itineraries there is.

Sardinia is a place we know intimately and return to often. Over the past seventeen years, it has revealed itself to us slowly. It’s a beautiful destination we love deeply, and one we understand well. That’s why we’re genuinely excited to see S7ETE MARES based there for the summer. It’s a rare and compelling charter opportunity, beautifully suited to the rhythm of this coastline, and one we recommend wholeheartedly.

A big thank you to the Croatian Embassy in London and the British Croatian Society for the invitation to speak about Crewed Charter in Croatia. It was a real honour to share insights into an industry we have helped develop and continue to be an active part of.
This presentation was both personal and professional, reflecting my journey and experience as Founder & Managing Director of High Point Yachting, a boutique yacht charter agency specialising in crewed yacht charters in Croatia, the wider Mediterranean and worldwide, founded in 2001.

Over the past 25 years, yacht charter in Croatia has evolved enormously. I spoke about: • how personal sailing experiences inspired the creation of High Point Yachting • the rapid growth of crewed charter as one of the fastest growing segments of nautical tourism • the industry’s increasing maturity and the formation of the Croatian Yachting Association (CROYA) .y.a._association  • why the success of a crewed charter depends on crew quality and yacht setup, not size • outstanding examples such as Falco, Sisters, Aura and Corsario, a locally built and managed yacht with one of the most awarded crews at the CROYA Charter Shows • the rise of crewed catamarans as the most popular charter option in Croatia • why clients choose crewed charter • Croatia’s unique advantages as a crewed charter destination • the positive impact of crewed charter on Croatian tourism and local economies • and the growing focus on sustainability and responsible practices across the sector

DINNER IN A HIDDEN BAY: CORSARIO’s MOST MAGICAL RITUAL

Somewhere between the most charming ports and the quietest bays of Dalmatia, lies a small, secluded inlet. Its rocks are beautifully layered, like a cake; a private stone house sits above the water with a generous terrace, a vineyard, and an extraordinary view. This is where CORSARIO’s guests are invited for a private dining experience to be found nowhere else.

Here, Chef Luka and sous-chef Ivana prepare a traditional wood-fired meal, a mixed barbecue infused with local herbs, regional ingredients, and Captain Jure’s own olive oil. Dinner is served outdoors, overlooking the bay, while CORSARIO herself anchors just below, silently framing the scene and becoming part of the atmosphere.

Evenings here unfold at their own gentle pace, without hurry or formality. It is a simple idea, yet it feels thoughtful, intimate, and deeply authentic, often remembered as the highlight of the charter.

It is a combination of the above, a captain of exceptional calibre and long-standing local relationships that gives CORSARIO her character and allows each charter to feel quietly individual rather than predefined.
