A few photos from yesterday's open which also happened to be John's birthday.
The match was won by Gary Neesam who was down on peg 4 in the small lake.
Gary had 3 carp for 35lb and a lovely net of skimmers for his final weight of 50lb.
There were 3 other double figure nets of silvers from Brian Hutchings on carp peg 34, and Anthony Tompkins on peg 32 and Jason on peg 8.
In a battle for top silvers, Brian had 13-15 and Ant had 15-12 which was helped by the capture of boggley eyes 👀.

Results from yesterday's match on an improving Rolfslake, which was well supported with 18 anglers fishing.
Top overall on the day was John Bennett who was fishing peg 22 and had 7 carp and 1 bream for his weight of 100lb.
Ist carp was Jeff Bond with 58-11 from peg 40 and second was Chris with 44-12 from peg 18.
The silvers fishing at the moment is very consistent with a very close battle for the King of silvers crown. Today saw Neil win with 15-12 which was mostly comprised of skimmers.
Second but only just was Anthony Tompkins who came second with 14-12.
Spare a thought for Mick Jones who had 4 big bream for 14-10 which included one eye W***y and Boggley eyes on peg 32.
