This is Chastleton House located about one hour north of Kingham station by bike. It is the fabulous Tudor home of Robert Catesby- mastermind behind the Gunpowder plot. He may have had a stunning home but things didn't end well for him.

Oxford jam factory's marmalade was so popular in Victorian England that it even gets a mention in Alice in Wonderland, when Alice falls down the rabbit hole but reaches out along the way for Oxford marmalade! Nowadays the Jam Factory is a artsy restaurant bar located near Oxford train station.
