What better time than during organised by the than to launch our 'Charity Charter'.
At Proximity, we are more than just a business. We engage with our customers, our suppliers, their respective communities and our own.
The launch sees our inaugural fundraiser centre around Muscular Dystrophy Association, and a friend of the business, Sean Spencer, who has championed research, clinical trials, and community support following his own diagnosis of the muscle-wasting condition in his early 30's. You can read all about Sean's story and efforts to raise valuable funds in our blog.
Between 13th October, every booking that we provide to the Coach Sector will see the supplier contribute £2 from their invoice to Proximity Coach Travel, with Proximity doing the same in return. This will run until the end of November.
We can't thank our supply chain enough. In tough times, where costs continue to rise, with no support, to make a small contribution on the service they provide to move our clients, simply illustrates what a brilliant, genuine and kind industry we work in.
Sean personally called in to see the Proximity team ahead of the launch, where he met with our Director of Business Development, Vinny Hanson who has known Sean for decades. We look forward to seeing him again at the end of November to make our contribution to such a valuable cause.
