Our arrival and returning guest this morning🌤️ is beautiful girl Blue 💖 the Blue Roan Cocker Spaniel and everyone 🐶🐕 especially little Maisie 💖 was very excited to welcome 🥰 a new friend. She’s just here for a sleepover 🛌 and her mummy has already taken her on a nice walkies 🐾 so she’ll be home 🏡 here having a rest 😴 while we go out shortly.

The pups 🐶 🐕 all had a lovely time exploring around the Cockington countryside 🌳🦅🌸🐝🐇🍃🌼🐑🦌🦡 this morning ⛅️ Pancho 💙 had a girl friend to walk with, little miss Maisie 💖 She was keen to be off to enjoy her walk 🐾 but Pancho 💙 had other ideas of sniffing everything in sight and at the beginning it looked liked Maisie 💖 had enough of waiting and decided to rest her head on him 🤣 Maverick 💙 was kept occupied with his ball 🎾 until he left it somewhere and couldn’t be bothered to go back and look for it 🙄 it was only an old one so it didn’t matter. They all got the scent of lots of smells today and i did wonder when we’d get home 🏡 but they had fun rummaging in the bushes 🌿 Maisie 💖 had to whether she wanted to or not 😆 On the way back along the path Maverick 💙 was nosy 👀 and first to disappear through the gap in the wall followed straight away by Chester 💙 and Maisie 💖 looked on as if to say “where’d he go” 🤣 and they both came charging back through. Then we headed back to the car 🚐 for a drink💧and treats.

Little Jack Russell 🐶 cutie 🥰 Terrence💙 has just gone 😔 home 🏠 after his weeks holiday. He’s had a wonderful time out and about on lots of different adventures 🐾 with all his friends 🐕. . . Thank you so much to his owners Sarah, Owen and Jake for the bottle of wine 🍾 which being the weekend i will open and enjoy this evening (if I’m totally honest just lately every night is a wine, G & T or cider night 🤣 but who cares 😁) It’s so kind and thoughtful of you and as always very much appreciated. 😊

Well that was a damp 🌧️ chilly walkies 🐾 this morning 😣 that’s why we went to Scadson woods 🌳🦅🦊🍃🍄🐿️ as it was a bit more sheltered. Mav 💙 and the Cav’s 🐕 didn’t seem too bothered and were raring to go where as the Jack 🐶 lads didn’t wanna know 😆 Pancho 💙 and Buster 💙 were really trailing behind today and Terrence 💙 had no choice but to be on a go slow snails 🐌 pace. Lot of sniffing went on as soon we got there and Maverick 💙 enjoyed his ball 🎾 play, running off and hiding in the bushes 🌿 and paddling💧and fetching it out of the streams then rolling it in front of the others teasing them with it. Chester 💙 had the occasional paddle with Maisie 💖 watching him but I’m not to sure she likes getting her feet 🐾 wet. They were a bit muddy so all had to have a wash off with the hose 💦 and towel dry when we got home🏠. . .It’s really not like June weather 🌦️ at all is it! 🙄 but on a good note, the weekend is looking to be better. 🤞

The pups 🐶 all had a shorter walkies 🐾 today 🌤️ up at Great Hill 🌳🦅🦊🌼🦋🐞🌿🐇🦡 in Torquay. Pancho 💙 was in need of a drinkies💧as soon as we started off which was kindly put outside by someone from one of the houses 🏠 at the back. Then off they all went to explore and have lots of sniffies around the two big fields ☘️ Maverick 💙 was leaping 🐾 through the long grass 🌱 like a kangaroo 🦘 and then stopped in his tracks to let the others 🐕 all know he was up front and in charge and started barking at everyone again 🙄 The Jacks 🐶 made me laugh 😆 as it was almost like they knew what was coming and stayed back out of the way in the grass while Chester 💙 and co had to put up with it 🤣 and Chester 💙 looked back at me as if to say “can you tell him to shut it” 😆 After ignoring him it only lasted 5 mins and then off we went again and Maverick 💙 thought it fun to play hide and seek in the grass 🌱 little did he know i could see 👀 him 😁 I think Maisie 💖 felt worn 😴 out as she just flaked out 😆 in the grass 🌱 for a rest while the others sniffed, Toby 💙 waited for her and Pancho 💙 and Terrence 💙 were being their usual nosy 👀 selves. They were all glad of a refreshing drink💧 and a treat when we got back to the car. 🚐

My friend came along to help out again today 🌤️ and what a lovely walkies 🐾 we all had through the woods 🌳🐿️ and along the river💧🦆🌿🎣🛶🏊‍♀️at Dartington. Maverick 💙 was a happy pup 🐶 as he had his ball 🎾 and had a great time swimming 💦 out for it but then decided firstly to drop it in a muddy bog 🥴 and pretend he couldn’t see it, he came out filthy and then rolled it down a steep bank and barked his head off, again, pretending he couldn’t get it 🙄 I’m sure he thought i was going in to get it for him but eventually came charging 🐾 back to us with it. I think Terrence 💙 wanted to go in the water further for his paddle💧 but Pancho 💙 being on a twin lead with him wasn’t having any of it and slammed his anchors on 😆 Chester 💙 enjoyed a drink and Maisie 💖 was desperate to play but as she’s young, easily distracted and her first time staying it’s best to keep her on lead, maybe next time she’s stays. . . It was a beautiful walk🚶‍♀️and I’ve not come this way for years and usually do the walk from the other end at Staverton 🌳🚂 so it made a nice change and the pups 🐶 loved it. 😊

Well here’s a handsome little fella we’ve not had stay for a while, it’s my friend Maverick 💙 the Jack Russell 🐶 who has just arrived 😊 for his 17 night holiday. He had a lovely welcome from all his new and old friends and they were straight out in the sunshine ☀️ to play in the garden 🌳🐦‍⬛🌼🌿🐿️ They all get on so well 🥰 together but the Cav’s 🐕 are certainly outnumbered by the Jacks 🐶 now. 😁

Morwenna 💖 went home this morning 🌧️ and then it brightened 🌤️ up nicely and off we all went for our walkies 🐾 We spotted one of “Jo’s Dog Days Out” 🐕 posters 😊 (one of my lovely clients) at the start of our walk before going through the woods 🌳🐿️ Then we went down to the beautiful Elberry Cove 🌊🦀🐚🎣⛵️🦭 Pancho 💙 saw 👀 a random ball 🎾 floating in the sea 🌊 and grabbed it straight away, it was a great opportunity for him today as he’d have had no chance had ball obsessed Morwenna 💖 been with us. It was only my Toby 💙 that ventured in for a little paddle💧no one else was interested 🙄 So up the steps we went and across the green☘️🌼🐇⛳️🏌️‍♂️Buster 💙 had a roll 😆 about in the grass 🌱 and i think Maisie 💖 wondered what on earth he was doing. They all enjoyed a good run 🐾 with lots of sniffs on the way. . . It was back home 🏡 for a treat to wait for our next guest to arrive.

Gorgeous Spaniel 🐕 boys Croyde 💙 and Bradley 💙 who i look after have an important announcement to make 😊. . . Their mummy Jo Atkins has just started up her own dog walking🚶‍♀️business. Qualified in first aid, insured and DBS checked. She’s a really lovely, calm natured lady and craves the outdoors 🌳 even swimming in the sea 🌊 with her own boys 🐕 so your pooch 🐶 is guaranteed a fun filled and adventurous 🐾 walkies. I have some of her great business cards here to give out if anyone is interested.

And look 👀 who’s just arrived it’s handsome boy Chester 💙 the King Charles Cavalier Spaniel 🐶 and he’s bought his new adorable 🥰 baby sister Maisie 💖 with him. Sadly 😢 he lost his big bro, lovely Harvey 💙 last year and felt lost 😔 without a playmate so now he’s certainly being kept occupied with Maisie 💖 It’s her first time staying and Chester 💙 is showing her the ropes, making her feel very relaxed. She’s such a cutie and so affectionate. They’re both here for their 11 night holiday and what a heartwarming 🥰 welcome they both had. I was a bit concerned as to how Maisie 💖 would cope with all the doggies 🐕 as a few don’t go home until just after they arrived but it couldn’t have gone any better 😁 Everyone was so excited to see more new friends and there’s a holiday romance brewing 😆 as I’m pretty sure Terrence 💙 is in love ❤️ following her around and coming to see her if anyone comes near, it’s so sweet. Thankfully neither him or Pancho 💙 have attempted to get “fresh” with her (which is what usually happens with new arrivals 🙄) . . . well not yet anyway 😆)
