🌟 This month we’re proud to shine a spotlight on Margaret Dymond, a truly valued and long-standing volunteer and board member at ShopMobility Renfrewshire. 🙌

Margaret is the longest-serving member of the ShopMobility Renfrewshire team, and she has supported the centre since its earliest days. As a mobility scooter user herself 🛵 and an active member of many community groups across Renfrewshire 🤝, she brings both personal insight and genuine passion to everything she does.

Her kindness, strength and commitment make a real difference — not only within ShopMobility but across the wider community. 💙🌍 Her support helps ensure the centre continues to provide a welcoming, understanding and reliable service for everyone who relies on it.

Volunteers like Margaret are at the heart of the ShopMobility network. ❤️ Her dedication, experience and community spirit are greatly appreciated by colleagues, service users and fellow volunteers alike.

Free Social Inclusion Events in Renfrewshire's beautiful Jenny's Well Nature Reserve followed by lunch at Hunterhill Community Centre. 2/3 qualified guides will be supporting our Wheel and Wander sessions.

Senior students from the Mary Russell School will also be helping, encouraging their development of project, support and social skills - getting ready for what's next after leaving school.

You can reserve one of our free scooters for the event, or bring your own !

Shopmobility Renfrewshire provides four services to people with mobility disabilities in Renfrewshire to help them to move around and participate fully in social, economic and cultural activities.
