This group came all the way from Peking University, China and spent the day with me around Cardiff and Cardiff Bay. We took a walking tour of Cardiff whilst the other half of the group had a tour of BBC Central Square. It was all change after lunch as I took the other half around the city . We then regrouped for a walking tour of the Cardiff Bay. I certainly got my steps in 😉 .

It was a pleasure to be asked again to accompany this year’s cohort of students from Aberdare College, Buenos Aires on a South Wales tour. We first of all spent time exploring Aberdare ( of course) as the founders of their school were relatives of some of the Welsh people who left Wales on the Mimosa for Patagonia in 1865. We also visited Caerphilly Castle, Cardiff City Centre and the Bay, Bannau Brycheiniog - Brecon Beacons - National Park

What are you smiling about 😉? What an eventful Port call yesterday! The tide gave us a few challenges, before calming down enough to disembark the passengers , so we could set them off on their trips. And receive A wonderful welcome from Wales Best Guides and Fishguard Bay Welcome.

After seeing my group off from St Davids I grabbed the chance for a little walk. I was keen to look for the piece of coastline called Caer Bwdi, where the distinctive purple stones seen on St David’s Cathedral came from. That‘s the bonus in this job, even doing a bit of research is a pleasure😊

My lovely group from the Philippines who came to explore Uk’s smallest city , St Davids, with me. it shows the contrast in our climate - I was dressed in my short sleeve shirt and shorts, they were in coats and hats! . .

The lovely thing about working in such a tree lined city like Cardiff is the plenty of natural shade to keep my groups out of the sun during this warm spell .
