What ATOL means
In light of recent events, many people are understandably feeling anxious about travel, flight routes and “what happens if something goes wrong?”.

ATOL protection means that if a key part of your package (like the airline or tour operator) fails or your holiday cannot go ahead, you are not left out of pocket. You are entitled to a refund or suitable alternative arrangements, instead of trying to fight your corner alone.
• You have someone proactively looking out for you
If flight routes need to be changed to avoid higher risk areas, I can look at alternative routings and options for you, explain the implications, and arrange changes on your behalf. You are not left refreshing news pages and airline apps, trying to decide what to do.
• You are not on your own if plans change
If the situation means that your holiday simply cannot go ahead, you have the reassurance that, as an ATOL protected customer, your money is protected. I will guide you through your options, whether that is a refund, a change of dates, or a different destination.
