Just a little day trip today to Brotherswater! The combination of snow and sunshine was a gorgeous sight to behold! And a super cosy cottage to drive back to afterwards of course 😂😂☺️

Edit - booked now midweek - Last minute availability for our cute cottage near the Lake District and Pennines - available now from 19th June to the 26th June for £500 or alternatively a 3 night stay over the weekend is £100 per night or £75 a night for the weekday nights. Having a DIY and maintenance visit to Dunkeld Cottage this week! Taking advantage though of a gorgeous evening stroll down a very quiet local lane - views to the mountains of the Lake District to one side and Pennines the other 🥰🥰

Happy weekend everyone! We have been advised by the government that holiday lettings can now commence from the 4th July so we are delighted to take bookings now from that date. By way of reassurance, we are now offering a very flexible cancellation policy - you can cancel with 2 weeks notice for any reason and receive a full refund. Should the pandemic situation become as it has been in the last few months, we will then refund you in full right up to the start of your holiday. So please do get in touch with us and book with confidence! We are getting booked up now so do contact us quickly if you want summer dates and fancy touring the Lake District! 🥰🥰

Chocolate Box Cottage near the Lake District

We totally fell in love with this cottage when we saw it online. In fact, there was no one there to show us the cottage and we were due back down south the next day, so we peered through the windows and put an offer in straight away! We love the gorgeous little garden which is completely enclosed and love all the features of the house - from the stunning beamed ceilings to the bright and airy kitchen/breakfast room. There are walks with views of the Pennines right from the door and yet you are only a 10-15 minute drive to the picture-postcard lake Ullswater in the northern Lake District. Local pubs and bistros are fantastic too - we love staying here and we hope you do too! :)
