We would like to thank you all for your fantastic support and for all your positive comments on the planning site, there’s still time to comment and support us 😊 Please do take the time to read the actual planning and not just the social media posts as many of these comments are factually incorrect 🚁
**Edit**
The planning site is a little ‘clunky’ but please persevere! Because it’s not a new planning submission it lists at the top the original planning.. just scroll to the bottom and you will see the comment section for 2025. 🚁
Planning Application – Your Support would be appreciated.
As you may know, a planning application for minor changes has been submitted to Cornwall Council to aid the continuous reliability and efficiency of the Heliport operation.
This service plays a crucial role in ensuring reliable, year-round connectivity for island residents, businesses, and visitors as well as providing essential support to local Air Ambulances and Coastguard Helicopter teams.
You may have heard rumours of:
Larger, louder helicopters.
Flying the schedule on Sunday.
Scenic flights around the local area.
These are untrue, please do read the application fully to understand the proposed changes.
We have seen a lot of positive comments regarding this application on various platforms but it’s the link below where it counts.
