Beautiful morning with bird song in Marazion vans cleaned by Paul Bell yesterday and after some recent problems with the sit and ride we finally managed to get the lawns done. Park now looking great🙂. Dog walked out to Perranuthnoe. Emails done. Bit of pool clearing gearing up for its opening at Whitsun but fitting a float pump in the tank out in front of the house now the priority today 😕. Pull some pots for octopus later🐙💪🏽. Tomorrow is Flora day ☀️🍻🎶👍🏽👍🏽

Storm Goretti really hit the Mount hard, this should be an interesting watch and informative for anyone staying with us and planning a visit there this year

This evening, St Michael’s Mount will feature on BBC's Countryfile.

The episode will explore the impact of Storm Goretti, as the presenters speak to some of the staff and residents who call the Mount home.

Tune in to BBC One at 18:00 on Sunday 29 March, to enjoy a glimpse behind the scenes post-storm on this historical tidal island.

Beautiful evening tonight (24/02/26) just 5 minutes walk and we are able to enjoy the beach and a little bit of sun, the evenings are starting to draw out and we know it won’t be long until we are opening again, we are taking bookings from 4th April, if you fancy being on this beach too 😊

More wind incoming apparently. Shouldn’t be as bad as the other week: Carnage, evergreens down everywhere, power cuts, blues lights every 10 minutes, 4 horsemen etc. (you probably saw all of the posts. Some of the BBC Cornwall content was particularly harrowing viewing) anyway we got our 2026 tariff page back up online last Friday (and things are looking better for 2026 as the online booking system was actually up last summer🙏🏽👍🏽) here’s a video showing one of the recently fitted carpets in the Summer caravans taken on Saturday.
