There are only seven beaches with sand of this color in the world.
The one in Komodo is called Pantai Merah, although for western tourism it is simply referred to as Pink Beach.
When these little fragments hit the beach and mix with the sand, that soft pink color is formed.

The Demetra Studios are well maintained and have delightful little mature garden spaces throughout the small complex. With everything you need for a great self catering holiday, they offer the perfect base for a relaxing holiday in the sun.
