Our Sweet Home Alabama media trip has got off to a great start INBirmingham.

An enlightening and emotional day yesterday, learning about the civil rights struggle in the city and how it become the forefront of the movement. Highlights included the 16th Street Baptist Chirch and the Civil Rights Institute where we were accompanied by master tour guide Barry McNealy. Next stop Muscle Shoals

As Chair of Visit USA, it was a real pleasure to celebrate the brilliant work being done across the UK travel media to inspire travel to the USA.
