Name: Kiswah (كسوة الكعبة)
It means “cover” or “clothing” in Arabic.
2. Material: Made from pure silk, dyed black, and embroidered with gold and silver threads.
3. Weight: The entire Kiswah weighs approximately 650 kg, of which:
• 120 kg is pure gold and silver threads for the embroidery.
4. Size:
• Height: ~14 metres
• Width: ~47 metres (made in 5 parts, one for each side)
