The Potential for a Toon with 20,000 people... The most Easterly Point on Main Land Scotland.. Largest Port in the Uk. Oil & Gas as well as renewable funding...
A Dignified Museum of Aberdeenshire - not a modern monstrosity.
A Harbour that works for all - fishing rights, Boat Trips, Fishing Heritage Museum & Full Size Whaling Ship Replica (a jaunty oot on a fifie? Why nae?)
A Pedestrianised Broadstreet, with Cafes, Markets, Shops - Events...
A Carnegie Arts Centre - Performances. Studios halls, Pantos,
And definitely no Β£500,000 Bandstands.
Pride in our town. We've alot more going for us than most... Yet... It stands like a ghost town today. Scottish Week brings crowds... Fishfest brings crowds.. so why couldn't the town as a whole draw people to the Area?
