Last Sunday in Barcelona I spent the day touring the magic house that is Casa Batllรณ.

Gaudi gave Casa Batllรณ a unique facade, full of imagination but the magic continues inside with the mushroom shaped fireplace, the spherical ceilings that show off the chandelier, the beautiful windows that turn the 2nd floor into a balcony, the staircase that looks like a dinosaur backbone, everywhere you look there is something different.

Just like that my week onboard Scarlet Lady is all over.

I was a little sceptical about Virgin Voyages as itโ€™s not your traditional cruise line but it was amazing!!! the food, the beautiful spaces onboard with there modern design, the party vibe with overnight stay in Ibiza and also the wonderful staff onboard which couldnโ€™t do enough for you really made the whole week fantastic.

There is over 20+ eateries onboard including the lively Korean BBQ โ€œGunbaeโ€ where the food is prepared in front of you on a live cooking station to the elegant The Wake which I could eat at everyday ๐Ÿคค amazing!!! There is no buffets or main dining rooms which is so different from traditional cruises.

I also do have to mention the two themed nights onboard Scarlet Night and the PJ Party that again break from tradition but were excellent ๐Ÿ‘Œ

We managed only four of the five cities of Cinque Terre on Tuesday. Guess which one we skipped?? We got off the ship in Marina Di Carrara and took busses, trains and more trains to get here but it was so easy. Almost forgot about the gelato ๐Ÿคค

Starting with a short layover in Frankfurt today so took the metro or s-bahn into the city for a little walk around.

After clearing passport control, exit the airport and just jump on the S8 or S9 metro (about โ‚ฌ6) and you will be in the city in about 30 mins

The old town is soo easy to walk around, lots of stuff to see and much better than sitting in an airport.
