We always knew Monaco Grand Prix weekend would be special 🏎️🇲🇨✨

The atmosphere, the glamour, the energy around Monte Carlo… it really is one of those travel moments that feels completely iconic.

But what surprised us most was how well Crystal Serenity fitted into the experience.

After the buzz of qualifying, the crowds, the harbour, the race day excitement and everything Monaco brings, stepping back onboard felt like the perfect contrast.

Beautiful food, calm surroundings, warm service and somewhere peaceful to properly unwind at the end of the day.

It made the whole trip feel so much more considered, and honestly, we cannot imagine a better way to experience such a big bucket list event.

Sometimes travel gives you a moment you know you will never forget ✨🇮🇹

For us, sitting on the veranda at Splendido, looking out over the Bay of Portofino, was exactly that.

We were lucky enough to have a corner table with the most incredible view, and honestly, it felt like a proper pinch me moment. The kind where you stop talking for a second and just take it all in.

The colours, the harbour, the water, the feeling of being somewhere so special… it is without doubt one of the most memorable lunches we have ever had.

This is why we love first hand travel. We have been there, experienced it properly, and we know when somewhere is truly worth recommending.

We have just experienced Crystal Serenity, and it was such a reminder that not all cruises feel the same.

What stood out to us was the calmness of it all. The service felt personal, the dining was beautiful, the spaces onboard felt elegant and relaxed, and there was none of that rushed or crowded feeling people sometimes worry about with cruising.

For us, Crystal felt like luxury cruising done in a really considered way. The ship became part of the experience, not just a way to get from one place to the next.

And because we have now experienced it properly, we can genuinely say this is one we would recommend to clients who want something polished, calm and special.
