The Steam Engine rally returns to Pickering this weekend. I saw this engine stopped outside the Sun Inn last night, presumably for a quick pint … he caused traffic havoc 🤣🤣 well the beer is very goo at the Sun

Today we are taking a few publicity photos of the Cottages. I made some soup for lunch which quickly become a prop … not a problem except it was cold before we got to it 🤣🤣

We hope that you are all enjoying your festive celebrations! On Sunday evening we had our now traditional “carols in the courtyard “with the Stape silver band … featuring our very own Helen.
The Mulled wine was a real hit to keep the cold at bay 🥶. It was a lovely festive way to start Christmas with our guests at Eastgate Cottages
