Tonight’s the night! ✨

The Perseids meteor shower is at its peak, with up to 100 shooting stars an hour streaking across the summer sky. One of the most dazzling celestial shows of the year, it’s the perfect excuse to wrap up, stay up late, and look up, especially in an International Dark Sky Reserve like the North York Moors.

Some top spots to settle in include:

🌠 Danby Lodge National Park Centre
🌙 Rosedale Chimney Bank
🌳 Dalby Forest

Top tip, give your eyes 20 minutes to adjust, bring a blanket or reclining chair, and don’t forget the warm drink!

Another stunning sunset on an incredibly warm, sultry evening
One of the Canada Geese (Dad to the goslings) has stayed behind and become my best friend!
It’s been so hot today the hedgehogs are sheltering in the barn!
