It's nearly time for the Pitlochry Highland Games - being held on Saturday 14th September 2024!!

The day starts at 11:30 with a Pipe Band Parade from Station Road, and along Atholl Road to the Recreation Ground.

Competitions in the ring commence at 1.00 pm and include Highland Dancing, Heavy Weights, Tug-o-War, Track Events, and individual Piping. There is also a variety of stalls to buy some snacks and drinks throughout the day.

Games day ends with a wonderful show from the Massed Bands from around 4.30 - 5pm.

Well we now have Claudia from Sheffield - the first person to finish at the Rob Roy Way in Pitlochry! She had met Joerge & Claudia along the way too!

The new Rob Roy Arch in the War Memorial Garden in Pitlochry has welcomed its first walkers this morning - Joerge & Claudia from Leonberg in the state of Baden-Württemberg in Germany - who are beginning on their walk from Pitlochry to Drymen!

From 28th June – 6th September 2024, a herd of 30 Highland Coo’s will take over Perth & Kinross, each individually designed and painted by talented artists. Pitlochry will host 3 Coo’s, including the “Legacy” Coo at Pitlochry Railway Station. There are two further Coo’s in Pitlochry sponsored by the Atholl Palace Hotel and Pitlochry Dam & Visitors Centre. After the ten week display, the sculptures will be sold at auction to raise much needed funds for Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS).
