Just a quick message to thank the local community who have supported my tour guide business, Heartland Tours, since its launch back in 2016. It has been a genuine privilege, showing off the wonderful sites and sights around Pitlochry, Highland Perthshire and throughout Scotland. In addition to tours, I also offer an executive and exclusive transfer service to and from Scottish airports and hotels. In a new venture, I work with Belmond’s Royal Scotsman train when it stops off in Dunkeld. I bring the Belmond passengers into Pitlochry where I show of all the area has to offer to encourage clients to return in the future. I’d be keen to hear from any local businesses who would like to work with me to market Pitlochry and Highland Perthshire to the Belmond visitors. Hi everyone from a very quiet but beautiful Pitlochry in the Scottish Highlands. Whilst COVID-19 has stopped my tours, it has not stopped the scenery, sites and sights being amazing. We had beautiful warm weather yesterday (Taps Aff!) and its forecast for snow at the weekend (Taps Back On Again!). If you have been to Scotland before, or are planning to do so, why not send me a family photo, cuddly toy or momenta and I'll take it to your favourite beauty spot in Scotland and photograph it in situ! Hello from Eddie, Heartland Tours based in Pitlochry, Highland Scotland,

It’s been some time since I have ‘posted’ on the Heartland Tours Facebook. The COVID-19 restrictions certainly put a hold on welcoming overseas visitors to our wonderful country. As some UK travel and hospitality restrictions begin to relax I have decided it’s time to get Heartland Tours back on the road. The great news is that the magnificent sites and sights of Scotland are still here and patiently await your arrival, either as a first time guest or as a returning friend.

Just before the restrictions were introduced, I purchased a brand new BMW 6 Series GT M (lovely!). It’s been parked up since March but it’s now; serviced, fuelled up and ready to go! As per my website (www.heartlandtours.co.uk) I can also offer a people carrier for larger groups BUT remember all my tours are executive and exclusive. You won’t be touring with strangers.

I’ll be ‘posting’ some tour options over the next few days and will also be revisiting some of my favourite sites and sights in Scotland, just to make sure they are still standing! If anyone has a specific site or sight in Scotland that you would like me to ‘drop into’ and take a photograph, just let me know. To keep this personal, feel free to suggest a specific message from your favourite location. Some people send me ‘Teddy Bears’, Message Stones and other personal items to be photographed from a favourite site or sight. To keep your message personal, my business email is [email protected]

May I thank everyone who has sent me personal messages of good luck and support during the past few, very challenging, months. Scotland is famous for its whisky, the Speyside region is particularly well stocked with over 100 distilleries to choose from. We can take you to your favourite distilleries, and with Eddie driving, you can have a few drams, and even a wee snooze in the car on the way back to your accommodation!!
