Nick and Tina wanted a contemporary look with a practical layout centred around appliances that would last for years. They had seen a kitchen in the showroom in a different colour and were taken to it. The final choice was Nolte in lava with anti-fingerprint doors. Above the sink area, the new Artwood striped cupboards in coffee colour add a contrasting detail. The island includes an extra table area, with a worktop in a contrasting tone featuring copper notes, sourced by Nathan from Mayflower Stone, who also supplied the remaining worktops and splashbacks. “I wanted a contrast to go with the overhead lights I’d bought, and Nathan sourced this worktop with copper tones from Mayflower. And it’s perfect,” said Tina.

The appliance specification focuses on Neff throughout: a fridge, freezer at the end of the island, main oven, microwave combi-oven, steam oven, coffee machine and warming drawer. A multi-zone induction hob on the island features a retractable extractor, keeping the chef at the centre of the room. A Quooker tap provides boiling, cold, and sparkling water. The sink, concealed bins, and dishwasher are all located within the same area of the kitchen. KF Kitchens also laid the flooring across the entire room.

THE RESULT

The finished kitchen is where Nick and Tina spend most of their time. “We haven’t left it since; we don’t sit anywhere else!” said Tina. “It’s perfect for how we like to live. It’s sociable rather than formal, with the stools at the breakfast bar. When we sit here in the evening, it feels special, like we’re out to dinner.”

This week we had the absolute pleasure of coming down to our showroom showing us the amazing new air fryer- AND WE ARE IMPRESSED!

Delicious enchiladas, all cooked in ten minutes- that’s lunch sorted for us in the showroom!

Kitchen design just got an upgrade 💪

What’s the point in having all of our appliances working if we can’t offer a nice drink when visiting our showroom?

The design journey should be a fun one, so now we have a range of drinks that everyone will enjoy!

WHERE DETAIL MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

When Cheryl and Martin planned a new kitchen as part of a wider home extension, they were looking for more than a straightforward replacement. They wanted a space that worked harder for them every day, combining considered design with appliances that would genuinely change how they cooked and entertained.

THE RESULT

Throughout installation, the team’s attention to detail remained consistent. Cheryl and Martin describe KF Kitchens as “perfectionists in the best sense of the word,” noting that care for the smaller details was what set the project apart.

Following completion, the couple attended one of KF Kitchens’ Neff cooking demonstration days at the showroom, putting their appliances through their paces with hands-on guidance from the team.

The finished kitchen reflects everything Cheryl and Martin set out to achieve: a well-considered design, a rigorous specification, and a team they trusted to deliver it.

St Austell Home Transformation

When Lewis and Kylie Furse redesigned their St Austell home, they wanted the kitchen to be the centrepiece of the open-plan space. Their property had been enhanced with a new mezzanine and vaulted ceilings featuring natural oak beams, and the kitchen needed to complement these architectural features while becoming the focal point visitors see upon entering.

The Result

The kitchen functions as Lewis and Kylie intended. Guests gather around
the bar and island rather than using the lounge. The long room no longer
feels like a corridor, broken up by the distinct zones and architectural
features built into the design.

Lewis said: “The whole process went very smoothly. Nathan and Derinda were great to work with, and we liked the ideas they suggested for us to consider. And their installer, Kevin, was absolutely brilliant, nothing
was too much trouble for him.” Kylie adds: “We wouldn’t change anything about our kitchen, really. It’s where everyone sits, around the bar and the island. I’d definitely recommend KF Kitchens.”
