This humming bird hawk moth was recently spotted at the entrance to the park.
Despite its name appearance at first glance, this is actually a day flying moth, famous for hovering like a hummingbird as it feeds on nectar from flowers.

🦔 A few weeks ago a hedgehog was spotted carrying leaves into a hedgehog house, which is typical nest-building behaviour at this time of year.
The hedgehog breeding season begins in May and runs through until September, so there is a chance we could see hoglets in the coming weeks!

A huge thank you to everyone for all your amazing support for the Plymouth half and 10K! 🏃‍♀️

Candice, Jess and Laura completed the race on Sunday 17th May and together have raised a phenomenal amount for St Luke’s Hospice ...........over £3,000 including Gift Aid! 🎉

Candice’s legs were a little wobbly the next day, while Jess and Laura, with the benefit of youth, were absolutely fine!
