✨ Closing one chapter… and making room for the next. Long post alert ✨
After two years, I’ve made the difficult decision to close Adventure with Amy to new clients and bookings. All existing clients have been contacted and will not be impacted by the pending closure.
This isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly. When I started this business, I never imagined just how much it would teach me, but life changes, circumstances change, and I’ve realised that I’m not in the same place personally that I was when I started.
Balancing a time-based business alongside a full-time corporate career and family life has become increasingly difficult. I’ve always wanted to give my clients the very best service, and I reached a point where I didn’t feel I could do that in the way I wanted to while trying to juggle everything else.
So, rather than continuing when I know I can’t give it the time and energy it deserves, I’ve decided that it’s time to close this chapter.
And whilst there is definitely some sadness in that, there is also so much gratitude. ❤️
I’m incredibly thankful to every single person who trusted me with their holidays, recommended me to friends and family, followed along, supported my little business, or simply cheered me on.
I’ve grown so much over the last two years - both personally and professionally - and I’m genuinely proud of what I’ve built.
But this isn't goodbye. ❤️
My social media channels will remain open (with some tweaks), and I’ll be continuing to share the things I love - Disney, travel, theme parks and, of course, our own family adventures.
I’m also really looking forward to growing my YouTube channel and using it to capture our family memories along the way, whilst hopefully giving others a little taste of the magic that travel can bring. ✨
And as for what’s next… 👀
Along with my always supportive husband Adam Preece, we’ve got a few ideas brewing behind the scenes. We aren't quite ready to share too much just yet, but let's just say there may be a new creative project on the horizon. 😉
For now, I’m going to enjoy this chapter for what it was, be incredibly grateful for the memories, people I have met and supported and look forward to whatever comes next.
