What’s new in Plymouth?🌿
There’s plenty happening across Britain’s Ocean City this September, with new openings, exciting events, city news and plenty of things to see and do.
RWY Royal William Yard is launching its first literary festival, while Red Bull Up The Mast and Seafest are both returning to Plymouth this month.
There are new places to discover too, including Taccy Tacos on the Barbican and a new Skechers concept store at Drake Circus, with City Padel Plymouth set to open in October and Compadres’ new restaurant arriving on 17 September.
It’s also a big month for Plymouth’s universities, with Arts University Plymouth named Arts University of the Year 2027 and the University of Plymouth named Community University of the Year 2027.
Plus, there’s still time to experience Our Story with David Attenborough at Market Hall and Stlukesguidinglights, while scaffolding is going up at the Civic Centre as its regeneration gets underway.
And don’t forget, there’s free bus travel across Plymouth on weekends throughout September too!
