We’ve all had a ‘what just happened?!’ travel moment — here’s mine!

Please share yours too! 😅✈️

Travel isn’t just about places — it’s about people.
My friend lost her phone on DAY ONE in Morocco. We’d just landed, exhausted but excited, and hopped into a taxi from the airport. Somewhere between the ride and the hotel, her phone disappeared.

We were told by a few people before going, “everyone in Morocco are not friendly at all! Be careful it’s not safe.” But Morocco had other plans.

💫 The hotel receptionist — an absolute gem — went above and beyond. He called the taxi company multiple times, tracked down the driver, and stayed calm through it all.
And guess what?
That same taxi driver came back and returned the phone, with a no drama.

It was such a reminder that kindness is everywhere, even where you least expect it — and it totally changed the tone of our trip.

Moral of the story? Don’t let fear or assumptions define your experience. Morocco surprised us in the best way 💫🇲🇦
