I have just returned from an amazing road trip around Slovenia.

Our first stop was Lake Bohinj in Triglav National Park. We then ventured over the Julian Alps to Bovec and the turquoise waters of the Soča River Valley. From there, we continued our journey through the Karst region to the coast, before looping back to Ljubljana.
What an adventure.

From ziplining above alpine valleys to exploring extraordinary underground cave systems, paddle boarding on glassy lakes and chasing waterfalls through lush gorges, Slovenia may be small in size but it is absolutely huge on scenery and adventure.

This country is pure storybook scenery: peaceful, dramatic and utterly breathtaking.

My son and his partner have just come back from Kenya after an incredible work trip with Colobus Conservation in Diani Beach. As zoo keepers, spending time supporting primate conservation was very close to their hearts.

To round things off, I arranged a 5-night stay at Salt Lick Safari Lodge in Taita Hills. It was rainy season, but that did not stop the wildlife putting on a show. From watching animals visiting the waterhole to heading out on game drives, they made memories that will stay with them forever. It was the perfect mix of meaningful conservation work and a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience.

What’s going on?

Airlines and airports are facing supply pressures on jet fuel in some regions, which means:

✈️ Some airlines are having to adjust how and where they refuel

✈️ A small number of flights may see schedule changes or rerouting

✈️ Airlines are prioritising keeping core routes operating as smoothly as possible

Behind the scenes, airlines are used to managing fuel supply challenges and are working with airports and suppliers to minimise disruption.

What this means for you

✈️ Most flights are still operating as planned
If your flight time or route changes, you will be notified and reprotected on an alternative option

✈️ I am monitoring my customers’ bookings and will contact you directly if your trip is affected

✈️ If changes are needed, I will deal with the airline and suppliers on your behalf so you are not left to sort it alone
