Summer 2027 might feel miles away, but the best holidays are usually the ones you quietly get ahead of ✈️☀️ Not to “call” what’s going to be huge — more to spot the places people start talking about six months too late.

I keep a close eye on travel trends, emerging destinations and the little shifts in where people are looking next, so you don’t have to lose an evening (or three) scrolling, comparing and second-guessing 🔎 If you’ve ever opened 20 tabs and still felt no closer to booking… I get it.

Two from this Reel that I genuinely think are worth a proper look:

Himarë, Albania 🇦🇱🌊 Clear-water, laid-back coast vibes, but without the price tag and crowds you’ll often find in the more obvious Mediterranean holiday destinations. Ideal for couples or friends who want beach days, great food, and a place that still feels like a find.

Syros, Greece 🇬🇷🏛️ Cyclades, but different. More local life, a gorgeous main town, and a slower pace. Perfect if you love Greece but you’re not chasing the “party island” vibe — think long lunches, sea swims, and pretty streets.

When did you last have a holiday booked that you were genuinely excited about?

I think one of the best parts of what we do is the bit that happens before you go. The conversations about where you fancy going, what you want from the trip, finding those places that you probably wouldn’t have found yourself and gradually turning an idea into something you can actually look forward to.

I know how easy it is to disappear down a rabbit hole of hotels, reviews, flights and options and still not be sure you’ve made the right choice. That’s where we come in.

I won’t lie — I really loved helping make this happen

This trip was a Kenya safari for a family of four, and it had a bit of emotion tied to it. Mum had done a similar safari when she was younger, and she wanted her kids to feel that same mix of excitement and wonder… the early starts, the wildlife right there in front of you, the stories you tell for years afterwards. We built the itinerary around that, then finished with five days on the Kenyan coast so they could properly slow down, swim, eat well, and just be together. They’ve said it surpassed their expectations, which is the best thing I could hear.

Reviews like this mean a lot because you don’t see the “behind the scenes” bits on a nice Instagram photo. The back-and-forth to get the right safari style for a family (without it feeling exhausting), checking flight timings, making sure the pacing works with kids, picking places where you’ll actually see wildlife without spending all day in the vehicle, and then adding a beach stay that feels like a reward at the end. That’s the part I love. I’m a Personal Travel Consultant because I genuinely care about how it feels when you’re there — not just what it looks like on paper.

A couple of tips if Kenya is on your “one day” list:

If you can, travel in the drier months (usually June–October or January–February). Wildlife spotting is often easier, and the overall experience feels smoother.

The safari-and-beach combo works so well for families. Safari days are early and full-on in the best way. Beach time afterwards gives everyone space to relax and process it all (and the kids can burn off energy in the pool while you finally sit still).

You sit down for “a quick look” and suddenly it’s Sunday night and you’ve opened 27 tabs. Different board bases, transfer options, room types, reviews that contradict each other… and prices that change every time you refresh 😅

I love the big names as much as anyone… but the holidays people remember (and actually relax on) are usually the slightly quieter ones. The places where you can still get a proper welcome, find your own favourite café, and feel like you’ve discovered something.

Here are 5 I keep coming back to recommending (and yes, I’d happily go to all of them myself) ✈️

• Carvoeiro, Algarve — cliffside coves, great seafood, and that “just one more swim” feeling.
• Pissouri, Cyprus — calm beach days + a village square that’s made for long dinners.
• Deià, Mallorca — Tramuntana views, gorgeous walks, and a slower pace (book early; it’s small).
• Altea, Costa Blanca — whitewashed old town, sea views, and a world away from the louder resorts nearby.
• Masca, Tenerife — dramatic scenery that doesn’t feel like the Tenerife most people picture (best enjoyed early in the day).
