Another early morning escape to one of our local munros..Ben Fhionnlaidh . Park at Elleric up Glen Creran, a 15 minute drive from us..
We were incredibly luck again this weekend and the cloud parted for some minutes near the top for more rare Brocken Spectre and a glimpse of further away temperature inversions ...

Been several months since ive managed a mountain due to hip needing replaced...a couple months after my new one , I managed to get back up and out🥰. Was prepared to just see how it went and go as far as the bealach, but everything felt good, despite the low cloud and poor viz...we decided head up Stob Dubh...absolutely the best decision....nearing the top, the cloud thinned and we were into another world of blue skies, sun, and brocken spectres galore...( the other peak was still in cloud)
Sat for ages soaking in the suns warmth and gazing at the temperature inversion....so lucky to live where we do...
We headed down and up the second peak hoping itd now also be above the clouds are were rewarded again🥰
A perfect early Sunday morning...

The wee Buchaill is a good relatively easy mountain ( obviously in bad weather its as dangerous as any other) and a good one for anyone wanting stunning mountain views without too much mountain efforts

A local easy walk in Port Appin. 1.5 mile loop round the limestone coastline. Airds Bay has a fabulous large beach with shallow waters which makes for good swimming as warms up well in Summer sun, some amazing caves and a massive Limestone Archway...today me and my son walked it , amd as so calm and sunny, took the wee detour down to the point...Oyster Catchers on a nearby island rock with a lone heron, calm gittering sea, and one happy kid and their best pal, Micky the Collie Dog🥰

Im not good at Mindfulness at all, but today sat on the wee beach by the Point, in the Sun, with my son and dog happy, i succeeded for a wee while...
When we have weather like this, we do live in the most amazing place🥰
