We are back but what a day! We booked a late flight because we knew we had to get the ferry back to the mainland from the island. It was actually much easier than we’d anticipated (you live & learn) and so we actually had quite a lot of time on our hands.

The flight back was slightly delayed and you know when you just want to get home…….. yes that feeling!

Looking forward to getting organised today and a long bank holiday weekend!

What is your favourite tipple on holiday? We’ve recently been to Croatia and the White Russians are amazing!

When we are in Cornwall we always visit the Rose is amazing!

One thing we love to do when we are near the water is paddle board & despite living in the middle of the UK there is a lakeside complex not far from us where you can waterski & paddle board.

Down at the Port House you can hire paddle boards in Rock & Port Gaverne so no need to invest to enjoy!

This is just another option that you enjoy either down in the cove in Port Gaverne or in Port Isaac x

As the summer starts drawing to an end, have you thought about an autumn break?

Cornwall is stunning at any time of the year but I have to say I love autumn walks along the beach, followed by hot coffee in a cosy cafe watching the waves crash in.

Out of season also means you avoid the crowds making dinner reservations easier and you’ll always find a table at your favourite watering hole!

We still have some availability for autumn, message me for more dates x

So who has seen the 2nd Fisherman’s Friends film? We are away at the minute but it’s on our ‘must do’ list before the kids go back to school.

I loved the first film and can’t wait to see this one!

Our favourite thing to do. We get the boat from Rock beach and have 2 hours trying to catch mackerel to take home for tea! Sometimes we catch, sometimes we don’t! That’s fishing!
