'One of the bloodiest days of WW1'

As the dawn breaks on 1 July 2026 we remember for the 110th year those who fell at the Somme. Young men fought side by side and faced one of the bloodiest days in the Somme. Today we remember our friends and relatives who gave their today, for our tomorrow.

Location: The Somme region of France
Casualties: 57,470 casualties in a single day.
Fatalities: 19,240 men were killed, making it the bloodiest day in the history of the British Army.
