Have you heard of Elephant Hills ….🐘🇹🇭

Whilst in Thailand part 3 of our adventure - as an independent travel agent I wanted to experience for myself. We stopped for a few days at elephant Hills a drive transfer for three hours to Khao Sok. This is an ethical elephant resort sanctuary where you stay in Safari lodge Tents which were beautiful and had your own ensuite shower bathroom you had the choice of 123 or 4 nights stay which included all your meals catered for whilst there and the resort had a bar for your drinks & a pool to cool off which was a great advantage.

We then went on the bus to meet the elephants who were absolutely beautiful old ladies no males and arranged from the age of 20 to 81 years old these are all rescued elephants who are unable to go back to the jungle with other elephants so I looked after in a wonderful natural environment. There is no riding of the elephant yhey are roaming free with no chains just their own mahout to look after them you can help to make their meals which are handmade with extra elephant digestion balls to help with their daily diet, they eat a lot. We also had a jungle track guided by some lovely guides from the elephant Hills who knew exactly what to show us and how to trek through the jungle seeing lots of wildlife along the way we had a meal at the end of the trek setup in a beautiful surrounding with a chef who showed us how to make traditional Thai meal whilst on the outdoor jungle experience.
