Mable's Cottage is a two bedroom, self catering detached cottage set in half an acre of mature gardens with splendid views over Glen Conon. We are just under a mile from the famous 'Fairie Glen' featured in the film 'Stardust' and a mile and a half from the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry terminal at Uig Pier which has daily sailings to the Outer Herbrides (Western Isles). The Uig Hotel is a ten minute
walk and offers great food and drink. Mable's has a gated driveway and can park up to four cars on the gravel drive. We have two comfortable bedrooms, one with a King Sized double bed, the other with either a Super King Sized double or twin beds. The bathroom has a 'P' shaped bath with regulated shower over the bath and unlimited hot water. The comfortable living room has a flat screen TV and Sky+ box and multi fuel stove, with oil fired central heating throughout the house. Both bedrooms have flat screen TV's with freeview while the kitchen has a flat screen TV with freesat and, of course, WiFi is available throughout. Our kitchen is fully functional and provides everything you need. Our utility room has a tall fridge with matching freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. We also have a small reading room upstairs with a leather Chaise Longue, side cabinet and table with great views over the glen for those who want to get away from it all. Outside, the grounds are well fenced so that your four legged friends can roam about without fear of escaping (providing you have closed the gates behind you). we have a lovely twin rocking chair looking down the glen and a picnic table and barbecue. To the rear of the garden are various benches for sitting and watching the fantastic sunsets on those late summer nights. We supply dog bowls, beds, towels, throws and poo bags for your best friends to make them feel welcome too. We believe we have thought of just about everything to make your stay a relaxed and enjoyable one so please come and have a look for yourself.
