We gave the small double a makeover this week. Lovely new thick carpet, fresh white paint-over for the furniture, cute little drawer k***s, bedside ottoman, new bedside lamp and a little artwork. Looks bigger, brighter and better.

Almost there! We are converting part of the cellar into a home working station for those studying or who need to work from home now. The space has 3 laptop desks, individual lights, heating. New carpets and thick underlay were laid on all the stairs yesterday. Feels great underfoot. All set up now and just awaiting the new funky flooring today.

Last weekend Southsea hosted the international kite festival. It was a windy day and it looked fantastic! There's always so much on in this wonderful city all year round.
