A lovely surprise yesterday from a very kind and thoughtful client. ❤️

I had spent time researching and pricing a holiday for a family , which unfortunately they weren’t able to book in the end due to work commitments and other factors.

As an independent travel agent, a lot of work happens behind the scenes, so it was incredibly thoughtful of them to acknowledge the time and effort involved, even though the booking didn’t go ahead.

Thank you so much. Your kindness genuinely meant the world to me. 🥰

A lovely review came in today and it completely made my week! ✨

This year, I have been lucky enough to work with the incredibly talented Rachel Lowe MBE , helping to organise her business travel.

Recently, I also had the pleasure of arranging a London stay and travel itinerary for a lucky couple who won an ITV competition prize through Rachel.

From the photos they shared, it looked like they had the most amazing time!

What a fantastic prize to win. Thank you Rachel for supporting my small business and giving me the opportunity!

I’ve just booked a short getaway for a client to Torremolinos on the Costa Del Sol. It is one of my favourite places for a cheap, short break but it seems to have abit of a bad rep so thought I’d share my thoughts…

Torremolinos has far more character than people expect. Narrow streets wind through the old town, with small steps leading you into traditional squares where everything feels slower and more relaxed. The Old Town is full of great tapas bars and the main square is perfect for sitting with a cold glass of cava and watching the world go by.
Just a short walk away, La Carihuela offers a slightly more modern feel, with plenty of beach bars, restaurants, and shops right by the sea.
Plus, it’s only 10 minutes from the airport with cheap flights going daily.
The perfect place for a short break away!

Exciting news for us on the South Coast…..Southampton to Paris, direct ✈️🇫🇷

EasyJet are now flying from Southampton Airport (SOU) to Paris Orly (ORY) and it’s only about a 1 hour flight.

✈️ Flights are currently running Wednesday to Saturday, which works really well for a quick city break.
Return flights prices are well under £100.

As Orly is close, you can be in central Paris in around 25 to 30 minutes after landing.

☕️ Coffee by the Seine, wander the city of love, maybe even a cheeky visit to Disney!

I’ve just returned from an amazing few days in Palma… if you haven’t been before, you need to go! Palma is the capital of Mallorca, which is the biggest of the Balearic Islands.

Most people probably think of Mallorca as just a Brits abroad beach holiday but the island offers so much more….

Honestly, one of the best things we did was just wander around Palma with no plan. The streets twist and turn, and you end up properly lost down quiet little lanes, stumbling across hidden courtyards, random squares and boutique shops you would never find otherwise.

Even though it is a capital, it does not feel hectic. Everything moves slower. People take their time over coffee, lunch turns into a couple of hours, and the whole place just feels easy. At night, the city comes alive with roof top bars and stylish restaurants.

Palma really does have something for everyone, whether you are travelling as a couple, with friends, or as a family. The closest beach is only about a 20 minute walk from the old town, so you can even have the best of both worlds!

The best bit? You can get flights from around £60 return and Palma is less than a 15 minute drive from the airport!

🌴 Gran Canaria:
A Holiday of Two Halves 🌴

Our recent trip to Gran Canaria gave us the perfect mix of authentic local charm and luxurious relaxation.

We started our stay in the north of the island, choosing Santa Catalina, around 40 minutes from the airport. We wanted to experience real Spanish culture, away from the typical tourist hotspots, and it did not disappoint. The town has a lovely balance of city life and beach vibes, with a genuinely local feel.

The weather here was a little windier and cloudier, although the sun did make some welcome appearances. One of the absolute highlights was our gorgeous boutique hostel. This was not your typical backpacker stay. Think beautifully styled rooms, an incredibly comfortable oversized bed, TV, and en suite. It was a real hidden gem for around £55 per night.

Another standout experience was the famous Ruta de Pinchos every Thursday evening. Tucked away on a charming street, locals gather for drinks and delicious pinchos ( tapas served on cocktail sticks). At around €4 each, it was fantastic value and such a great way to soak up the atmosphere.

Getting around was effortless thanks to the local buses, which were reliable, easy to use, and very affordable.

For the second half of our trip, we headed south to Playa del Inglés, where the island transforms into a classic holiday destination. Here we stayed at the stunning Barceló Margaritas, in the adults only Royal Level, and it truly felt like paradise.

From the moment we arrived to find chilled cava waiting on ice, everything was impeccable. The suite was beautifully designed, the sunbeds were incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, and the pool was one of the warmest we have ever experienced. The whole space had a calm, zen-like atmosphere that made it impossible not to relax.
We were only away for 4 nights but it honestly felt like a week because of how chilled the Adults only area was.

Gran Canaria really does offer the best of both worlds. Whether you are looking for culture and authenticity or pure indulgence and comfort, this island delivers.
