Steve's background in the entertainment industry was established some 30 years ago and along this long road he has been involved with and gained experience of all aspects of event production. His initial role as a DJ gave him the experience and people skills necessary for dealing with brides and grooms, putting them at ease and reassuring them that their day would be as special and unique as they’
d dreamed about. Which was when Bennisound was formed. During the mid-nineties, seeing a need in the market; Steve started a business selling and installing sound and lighting systems, initially to the audio video sector and holiday centres. During this time Bennisound was inundated with requests to provide and operate sound, light and video systems for conferences. The appeal to the client being one contact for the whole package, it’s human nature: people want a one stop shop, sound, light, video and an operator that can not only run the show, but also repair a fault ‘on the fly’. The experience gained from working the conference circuit meant that Bennisound & Light was now very well versed in dealing with venue managers and business clients. Along with the firms experience experience and our arsenal of equipment had been growing, growing to the point that we could light just about any venue.
