The East Lancashire Railway is thrilled to welcome back everyone’s favourite cheeky little piggy. 🐖🐽😃

Come and meet Peppa Pig in the fantastic Bury Transport Museum this summer. Just pre-book your general admission ticket and pick a meet and greet slot that suits you. With no additional cost to general admission, the family fun continues with a fun fair with three rides suitable for toddlers, face painters, craft activities and even a petting zoo.

Complete your day out with a ride aboard a heritage steam or diesel train through the Irwell Valley. Your general admission ticket includes a complimentary ride on any ELR train service on the day of your visit.

As summer approaches, many people will be planning lots of outdoor adventures across Lancashire. Please remember these few simple steps provided by Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (Official) to stay safe and help protect Lancashire.

- Open water can be colder and more unpredictable than it looks. Please avoid swimming in lakes, reservoirs and rivers.

- If you do find yourself unexpectedly in cold water remember the Float to Live advice - tilt your head back and control your breathing. Relax and spread your arms and legs out like a starfish.

- Dry conditions increase the risk of wildfires. Leave BBQs and campfires at home and pack a picnic instead.
