New Date for Needle Meets Hook Craftathon will now be on 15th June to tie in with the Sussex Day Market in Market Square! 🧶🧵

We have had to take the difficult decision to move the Craftathon due to bad weather. It’s moving to SUNDAY 15th and will tie in with Sussex Day celebrations in Market Square.

Sussex Day Weekend in Battle – 14th & 15th June

Celebrate all things Sussex in the heart of Battle!

The World’s Smallest Art Fair returns, hosted by Sam Peacock in Tills Yard – showcasing incredible local talent (10am–5pm both days).

On the 15th, Market Square bursts into life with Sussex food, drink, flowers, crafts, face painting, competitions & children’s activities.

From Sussex cheeses to fresh fish baked delights– it’s the perfect weekend to shop local, eat well and raise a glass to our county!

Grab a bite, sip on local wine or beer, and enjoy live entertainment throughout the day.

You will soon see the Sussex flags flying up and down the town! Come and celebrate Sussex Day in Battle over the weekend of the 14th & 15th of June.

14th & 15th June - Discover local Sussex produce from our wide range of independent shops in Battle. From local catches .mackerel.fish to fresh bakes at . Sussex home wear and Battle branded gifts at to a pint of local beer .

Sussex artists will be taking part in ‘Worlds Smallest Art Fair’ on the 14th & 15th in Tills Yard.

On the 15th head over to Market Square where a Sussex Day Market will be on. Local Cheese & Ciders to Honey & Flowers the market will be showing off the best of Sussex!

There will be Sussex Artists, Face Painting & Ice Creams. The will be running a Children’s Sussex flag competition.

Have a go at a well loved Sussex & Battle tradition of Marbles and wonder at the mighty Fighting Knights!

As well as live music at & over the weekend

Don’t miss your chance to be part of the La Mora Tapestry. Sessions restart at Battle Library on Fridays between 1pm to 5 pm and on Saturdays between 10am to 2pm. Tina Greene and her fellow stitchers have already finished the first section as shown in the photo and the second section has begun!
