Reading Students' Union Helping students have the best time at the University of Reading! Students at the University of Reading are automatically members of RUSU.

From the advice staff working in the Advice, Representation & Campaigns centre to the student staff working behind the bar and the Student Officers elected by you to speak up on your behalf, we are all here to help you make the most of your student experience. As such, students are entitled and encouraged to direct the Students’ Union by attending the democracy meetings as well as voting for Stude

nt Officers who represent the student body on campus, locally and nationally. RUSU provides over 100 student representation groups, societies, sports clubs and volunteer groups to help enrich students' experience. The Union also offers independent advice on anything from immigration to finance and housing to education through our Student Advice team. As a charity (No. 1140375), all of the money that is spent in RUSU is reinvested back into the services we provide.

Friday marked the end of an era! 👋 Our Full-time Officers for 24/25 – Shreyas, James, Gabe, Nathan, and Sarah – officially finished their time here at Reading Students' Union

They've definitely made an impact, and I'm sure you'll all agree it's been a great getting to know them and working together on issues affecting the student body 🤩

As most of them move on to life outside of university, we wish them all the very best! 🌟 And to Shreyas, who'll be rejoining the student body, good luck with your future studies! 📚

As an SU team, we often say it's a unique experience having such a big change to the organisation each year with new officers, but it's a bittersweet feeling we've come to know well 🥹 This team will definitely be missed, but we're also super excited to see where our next team takes us! 🎉

Ella, Elyn, Sara, Tiam, and Martina have already been sharing some exciting ideas for the work they'll be doing over the next 12 months. Keep your eyes peeled for more to come! 👀

For now, they'll be working through their induction, solidifying their team priorities, and getting prepped for welcoming new students (and returners!) in September! 🥳
