Reading Students' Union Helping students have the best time at the University of Reading! Students at the University of Reading are automatically members of RUSU.

From the advice staff working in the Advice, Representation & Campaigns centre to the student staff working behind the bar and the Student Officers elected by you to speak up on your behalf, we are all here to help you make the most of your student experience. As such, students are entitled and encouraged to direct the Students’ Union by attending the democracy meetings as well as voting for Stude

nt Officers who represent the student body on campus, locally and nationally. RUSU provides over 100 student representation groups, societies, sports clubs and volunteer groups to help enrich students' experience. The Union also offers independent advice on anything from immigration to finance and housing to education through our Student Advice team. As a charity (No. 1140375), all of the money that is spent in RUSU is reinvested back into the services we provide.

Here is everything you need to know for Summer Ball🎪

✋Wristband Collection is on Friday 12 June 12noon-9pm in 3SIXTY (bring your student ID or other ID for non-student ticket types)
🪪 To enter the ball, you will need your wristband, valid proof of age ID and student ID (for student tickets)
✅Priority ticket holders can enter from 8pm
🎟️General release ticket holders can enter from 9pm
📧Email us if you need a companion or carer ticket
🌗Last entry is 11pm
❌Once you leave you cannot re-enter
🌅The event finishes at 6am

The petting farm is here tomorrow!!🐑☀️

We know the warm weather may have some of you wondering what measures are being put in place for the animals, so we wanted to reassure everyone that the welfare of the animals is top priority! Basil & Crew are bringing all the equipment to ensure the animals don’t get too hot during the lovely weather.

If you plan on attending tomorrow, please make sure you also plan accordingly with lots of water and suncream etc! We can’t wait to see you there🐓
