Early summer in the forest garden.
After a dry spring, weeks of rain have brought sudden growth and abundance. Lots of roses, collecting flowers for cabin guests, planting runner beans under jars and insects buzzing everywhere.

Today we planted out our peas which we sowed in gutters. This helps prevent mice eating the seedlings before they germinate, and then you just slide out the seedlings into the soil without disturbing the roots..
