We are so pleased to announce we now manage The Beach House. This beautifully renovated property is perfect for family getaways with its open plan living vibe. Boasting a stunning contemporary kitchen/diner/living area, a downstairs snug (with sofabed), an upstairs landing seating area leading onto the balcony with sea views, plus 2 spacious bedrooms and an additional upstairs bathroom.

Earth Day is every day. Our third tip for running your STR more sustainably is using local craftsmanship. Source items locally & utilising some of the amazing skills within your area rather than ordering everything online!

Earth month tips #2 - Sourcing your welcome hampers locally from small eco-minded businesses helps to reduces carbon emissions and air pollution.

If your property hits 50% occupancy (which in Wales is the minimum needed to avoid heavy council tax bills) with an average of a 3 night stay, that’s 60 welcome packs per property you’ll need to purchase. Add up all those food miles from the bread, milk & treats you’d usually pop to the supermarkets for and you’ll see the significant impact on the environment you’d be avoiding by sticking to our second tip!

Tomorrow marks the start of Earth Month. Every Monday I will be sharing some tips as to how we run holiday lets more sustainably!

First tip - Choose a holiday let management company who make greener choices! Everything we stock & clean our properties with is locally sourced & zero waste wherever possible. We chose due to their sustainable UK manufactured products (made only 100 miles from our properties) & closed-loop supply chain, meaning we return all of our empty 20L containers with the drivers who deliver the new ones.

A stunning eco-friendly retreat, guests have the annex with their own private access, sleeps 2 + 1 well behaved dog, rurally set with incredible views but a stones throw from everything North Wales & Cheshire has to offer. A walkers paradise or a cosy romantic retreat.

Our hot tubs are drained & cleaned between every booking, and because no chemicals are needed, the water is then used in the garden. Apart from the small amounts of electricity used for the jets & bubbles, our 8 person wood-fired Winchcombe is about as guilt free as it gets.
