What an amazing surprise I received in the post today! A most generous gift of chocolates from appreciative Marcela, a Swiss lady who I organised guided North Wales tours for last summer. Such an unexpected present from this lovely lady.

I've spent a great time organising four day tours for a lovely Swiss lady who came to North Wales because of her love of legends. We visited places in the Vale of Clwyd, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct & Canal WHS, Conwy & valley and Snowdonia.
She said 'You did a wonderful job and everything was perfectly organised and really impressive (just like a Swiss clock!) All the journeys were very interesting and exciting. All your historic data was fantastic - I could absorb like a sponge. I spent a great time with you and talking to you was really funny.'
Just a few photos of the many places we visited

Great to give a tour to a lovely couple yesterday staying at Ruthin Castle Hotel. Also managed to a peep into The Old Courthouse/Yr Hen Lys which was open with an art exhibition by local artist Helen Job
