Sorry guys please share !!!!!
Abacus taxis will NOT be running a night service after 7pm for at least 2 weeks.
Unfortunately staff are isolating for 10 days.
Sorry to cause inconvenience but we can only do what we can.

Hi everyone
Due to the new lockdown regulations and our limited staff, we have to make some temporary changes to the way we work for the next few weeks.
As from tomorrow, Saturday, we will be operating normally from about 05.30 hours till 18.00 hours. However, if you require transport in the evenings, you would be well advised to book in advance otherwise we cannot guarantee any availability due, as I have said above,
to our limited staff.

Today, the first of our vehicles was fitted with a protective screen to keep passengers and driver safe from coronavirus. When it goes into service, it will be thoroughly cleaned after each journey, ensuring no cross contamination.

Hi everyone. Hope you are all staying safe and well. We are currently working a skeleton staff, just one driver out at a time. Personally, being over 70, I have had to remain at home. Alex,Steve and Wes have decided to do the same for personal reasons, but Kelly, Chantel and Andre are holding the fort and working in relays. So please be patient, if you need transport or anything from the shops we will help you as best we can.

Hello again,
Further to our previous post, we would like to bring you up to date with the current situation. From Sunday morning, our hours of work will be 6am in the morning until approximately 10.30pm. IF YOU KNOW IN ADVANCE THAT YOU WILL NEED TRANSPORT AFTER 10.30pm THEN PLEASE BOOK IN ADVANCE.
It remains our intention to continue these hours for as long as necessary, although we ARE working with reduced staff at the moment. We will still be happy to assist anyone that needs shopping or deliveries, just contact us as normal. Stay well and look after yourselves in this difficult time.

Hi everyone,
This to let you all know that we are working and operating normally at the moment, despite the ongoing Coronavirus situation.
It is possible, however, that the situation could change as more and more restrictions are implemented by the UK government.
If pubs, clubs, restaurants, cinemas and bingo establishments are forced to close their doors, then we will have to consider reducing our hours of operation. More than likely, that will involve reducing night time shifts, however, we would still operate normally during the day, as long as we are all well, and we would still be available at night by prior arrangement and for emergencies.
We would also like to let it be known, that if ANYONE is self isolating or can’t get out to the shops for supplies for any reason, especially the elderly, we will gladly assist and deliver your shopping to you at the normal taxi rate.
DON’T BE AFRAID TO ASK.
As long as we are able, we will assist wherever and whenever possible.

Based in Kinmel Bay to serve Abergele, Towyn and Kinmel Bay, we are the only Taxi and Private Hire company that is licensed and regulated by your council, and as such we are committed to providing local residents and holiday makers the best service that we can. We will not charge exorbitant prices like some other firms are doing, £6 to go from Towyn to Towyn for example, we will only charge what is on the meter.
Although there has recently been a fare increase, you can still travel a full mile for just £3.20p. If you don’t want to be ripped off, use your local taxi firm.

Abacus taxis in Kinmel Bay, we urgently require drivers and owner drivers to join us. These are permanent positions, and not just for the season. Male or female, we will provide full training where necessary.
Applicants should be over 25 with a clean, or nearly clean driving license.
You will need to have, or be prepared to apply for, a Conwy council license to drive either a hackney or private hire vehicle.
