For the 2026 season

Lyons Robin Hood Holiday Park in Rhyl have undergone a major £1.5 million investment to introduce several high-energy family attractions.

New Activities & Facilities for 2026
The following new developments are scheduled to open in May 2026:

High Ropes Course: A brand-new challenge for thrill-seeking adventurers

Go-Kart Track: A dedicated track for racing friends and family.

Adventure Playpark: A fantastic new area specifically for younger children to explore.

Multi-Use Sports Courts: New facilities for football, basketball, and other team sports.
Climbing Wall & Trampolines: Additional active entertainment options including a "Bouncing Pillow".
Creative Fun: Introduction of the Adventure Den & Store for crafts and workshops.

Enhanced Park Amenities

Renovated Splash Zone

The indoor heated pool has been upgraded with three new super slides and a renovated spa area including a sauna and steam room.

Improved Dining:

highlight significant improvements in food quality, particularly the Sunday roasts and the variety at the pizzeria and sports bar.

Connectivity: In-caravan WiFi is now available for a fee (approximately £25 for 7 days).

Good advice

As the weather is becoming warmer and if heading for the beach, this is really simple. How you can spot a rip current. Unfortunately, it's where it looks easiest and safest to enter the sea. This is because the rip current is looping around and pulling back OUT. Hence no waves rolling IN. NEVER ENTER THE SEA HERE. If you are already in the sea and get caught in a rip current (you'll know because you will suddenly be moved from your location and it will be impossible to swim against it) don't panic. Swim ACROSS, not against the rip current. For example, rather than trying to swim to shore while being pushed out, swim parallel to the beach and you will be able to get out. Then you can swim ashore. Please educate friends or family visiting the beaches this summer. Stay safe
