Anyone else have these clouds today/tonight?
They are Lenticular clouds apparently which are quite rare , often mistaken as UFO’s. They don’t move and remain stationary in the sky.

I try every time to meet the dogs of guests ( I’m such an animal lover) , sometimes they have left before I get there. Today I am so pleased that I go to meet this adorable one.

Meet Leyla who is 7 years old. Such a beautiful dog. Really well behaved though I’m told not so much if there are too many dogs about.

Hope to meet you again soon Leyla. Your owners are welcome too. 🙂

When I was on countryside holidays with my parents in the uk as a young girl , my mum would set me a challenge with finding as many wild flowers as I could and be able to name them. She bought me a wild flower book and any that I found I would press inside the book. I’m not sure if children do anything like that these days ( I’m sounding old 😀) but I remember that I loved to do it. It was a free activity in fresh air and I was using my brain ( that would be challenging these days).

Was this just unique to me or did anyone else do something similar?

Just for fun below I’ve posted wild plants and flowers from near our home. How many can you identify without checking them on the internet?
The last one I found today and I did have to check it out myself. I was amazed at what is was and where I found it.

I was brought up on a farm so often found my own things to do and I did this on the farm too.

Holidays do not have to be expensive with the family and there is so much you can do for free.
