Spring at High Greenbury Barn has brought the countryside to life 🌿 Our recent guests loved spotting hares racing across the fields and watching the garden birds busy building their nests. Thanks to the Merlin Bird ID app, we’ve discovered an amazing variety of feathered visitors including Great Tit, Carrion Crow, Dunnock, European Goldfinch, Eurasian Skylark, Eurasian Jackdaw, Eurasian Blue Tit, along with our regular Pied Wagtail and European Robin visitors who return to nest each year. There’s something incredibly peaceful about waking up to birdsong and seeing nature thriving all around the barn 💛🐇🪺

We loved all the walks & wildlife, but particularly the cocker-proof fence (can’t tell you how many dog-proof fences have turned out not to be cocker-proof!).
