Mystic India designed and implemented a tour to North India twice back in 2024 for Damon Albarn & Gorillaz team so they could research the Indian music culture for their next Album called The Mountain. We are proud to share that Mystic India has been formally credited in the liner notes of the latest Gorillaz album, in recognition of our role as India Tour Operator & Travel Guides during the band’s work in India.

Founder Sharon Evans is personally named among those acknowledged — a reflection of decades of trusted partnerships, local knowledge, and authentic travel expertise.

It is an honour to have contributed, in our own way, to a creative project of global reach and cultural collaboration.

I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. The owner is an architecture & designer, the hotel is under the umbrella of
It’s by no means a five star property. My client was bitten by a rat in the restaurant!!! Yes in the restaurant, one can only assume how filthy the kitchen is. Promises of a refund as an apology has not been given nor has the hotel owner contacted my client regarding compensation as promised. When my client returned to the uk on the advice of her doctor was to have rabies injections to be on the safe side. Disgusting behaviour with no thought for their clients. Boycott and their new hotels and which are due to open this coming season.

Latest news re tourism to India As from 14th Feb'22, the following has just been announced.

1. NO RTPCR is required for those who are fully vaccinated, and

2. There is NO mandatory 7 days quarantine as it is currently applicable.

There is yet NO news on the commencement of International Commercial Flights for tourism. I assume that they will start either beginning of February or at least from 14th February. Also no news as yet for e-visa for UK nationals.

I’ll update as soon as further information is released.
