Another project is to create a pathway through this lot. One of two native Scottish planting projects, this one to the West of the farm. Hopefully in years to come it will look like the one in the third picture. Closer to home, the agility of the red squirrel always amazes me, they attempt the impossible to reach food đź‘Ť

Thank you to everyone who called or messaged asking if we were ok after Monday evenings storm. Lots of damage to bridges, culverts, fences and our pathways, but it’s nothing that can’t be fixed.
Before and after pictures of the ford we recently put in. The force of the water moved 4 concrete railway sleepers we had bolted together. They are still intact but about 5m away from where they should be.
Unrelated, Margo is recovering from her fall, broken arm and in a lot of pain from her bumps and bruises but managed to get downstairs yesterday. She is on the mend.
